Rear Seat Release Buttons

Has anyone else had an issue with the release buttons for the rear seat that are inside the car?

The buttons both feel depressed, but the latches are in place. I can't open the seat from inside the cabin, I had to go to the trunk and pull them from in there.

I'm going to have the dealer look at it next time I'm in.

RTFM.
The rear seat must be opened from inside the trunk. The the things you think are 'buttons' are not.

You can tuck the pull-straps to the front so that you can release the seat without having to go in the trunk.

I had RTFM, but I'll go back and do it again!

Thanks for the info Pyro.

It just seems bizarre to put "vestigal" buttons inside the car for no reason.

The "buttons" are indicators that show unlocked/locked.

*Nice to know when you leave expensive stuff inside your trunk. If your car is locked, there is no way to get into your locked trunk without using a lot of force.

Yes, you have to open the seat from the trunk, otherwise you would have no lockable storage at all!
