It's roundabout logic.

People are gonna do what they think looks good.

Everyone else's opinions don't matter except for those of the one buying the car. Be it rice, or putting a Lexus badge on it. Sometimes it's ok to disagree.

Heres some more:

If it comes with the ho-hum Scion badge, then:

Will take its place on the hood. Custom made. I've been wanting to do that for awhile...just a 'circle' badge doesn't seem quite right on the boxy AE86.

I concur, replacing badges usually looks silly.

My point because you obviously missed it, is it's stupid to argue. I highly doubt anyone is going to make anyone else change their mind about badges. It's a personal choice to make the car you want to make, whatever that is. So posting other people's opinions even a million of them won't change anything, because opinions are like A-Holes everyone's got one.

This is fallible logic.
1.) How many Toyota parts go into the FR-S?
2.) How many Ferrari parts go into the FR-S?

Yes I made a point because my point was a factual statement that some people on this forum would argue that they would swap badges to JDM Toyota badges if it came out as a Scion. Do you have any evidence that there won't be members on here swapping out the badges for Toyota versions? What was your point again?

No not about the sky. About the badges for the car and what people will do. Please stay on topic.

Dude. Not to be rude but is English your first language?

It's called sarcasm. Yes people are going to do a lot of things, put big useless wings it on and paint it pink. So what?

Telling them they are wrong for doing it won't stop them. Just like telling people to badge/debadge isn't going to stop them from doing what they want.

You sound like you just want to argue and you're not even sure about what.

I was responding to this post:

actually providing evidence that there are plenty of people on here (those with a long join and post history on here) who said they would replace the badges with Toyota ones. Most of those that were quoted aren't a pimpled faced teenagers about to rice out their car. I was arguing against that notion by stating there were members on here that would argue it wasn't being a ricer to replace a Scion with Toyota badges since the car will be a Toyota everywhere else in the world.

It isn't called arguing when you provide evidence for your point. It is called education.

Maybe he's rocking out an RB25DET under the hood? Though, it still doesn't justify the badge.

Also it gotta be AWD too! No, RB26DETT (or even single T) and AWD =/= GT-R emblem. Exception is made if it has S20 engine w RWD.
