on a more serious note, do people actually care if its a scion or what badge it has? or is it just the fact that weve been waiting for the car so long we just run out of things to talk about?

If it comes with the ho-hum Scion badge, then:

How about a hood emblem!

Yes, if only for sports heritage and the legacy that comes with the Toyota sports car. Back in the day they actually made excellent sports car's. Today, their lineup is as dull as paint drying.

The badge itself won't stop me from buying it. But I will change it, to whatever I damn please. If a few people out there think thats 'rice', then lol, ok, whatever. Why would I give a damn?

I had to look it up. That one is really cool, too!

I prefer the Celica more because it is a dragon, but it looks like a swan from a distance.

Yes, it is sexy indeed!

Toyota has a lot of old school badges that are just downright awesome. Those days are gone however.

Besides, none of those badges belong on this car. Thats why I picked the old katakana style 'TOYOTA' logo. I don't think its ever been used as a hood badge, etc., it was mostly just on parts made for Toyota on their older cars....and it looks cool!

Some do. Some don't.

The people that do care see themselves being grouped into the Scion crowd/disapprove of Scions' marketing strategy and pricing.

The people that don't care see it as a car made by a coalition between Toyota Motor Corporation and Fuji Heavy Industries and are interested in what the car is capable of regardless of which brand it is sold under.

That's what I have taken away from the arguing over my past month on here.

thats funny that you mention that celica badge because i went through two of them before i realized it wasnt a swan. i dont care what it is as long as toyota makes a return. after owning a celica supra, supra, sc400 and corollas(ae86 and te27) i just bought a miata and figured id wait for this to happen. i hope its everything i need it to be
