Mine loves the car. She puts a huge smile on her face every time she gets in. She understands how long I've waited and how important it is to me.

That article was about how better tires can lead to better track performance. It was never about comparing the three cars to see which one was the fastest, otherwise they would have also equipped those tires and lighter wheels on the other two cars.

Everyone is laughing (me included), but unless you're the ugliest, most unlikeable prick on the planet and she looks like Megan Gale, is Andrew Forest's daughter, cooks like Jamie Oliver and makes most porn stars look frigid, go back and read Czar's post over and over again.

In Australia, marrying the wrong girl will fark up your life more than robbing a bank and shooting a cop on the way out the door.

Wife knows not to get between me and my cars. She's seen what has happened in the past (used the money i was saving for a ring on buying car parts). Needless to say, she's learned from her mistakes haha

I paid for everything through my first marriage. Lasted less than a year. I saw the light and decided to look for a girlfriend who's employed and actually appreciates what she can get with her own effort. She is A-OK with me buying the car and even wants me to teach her to drive stick.

I'd rather she was Gina Rinehart's daughter. The one that didnt sue her lol. Twiggy is a bit on the unstable side for a Father in Law

She is actually employed and earns nearly as much as me, so that makes it worse! Love her dearly and don't put my foot down often, but this car was a definite foot down moment.

She put her foot down on a thermomix and tupperware (both of which she sells in addition to her main job) which is fine by me. I thought she would be happy I would be getting out of my leaky old 300zx but seemed to think I should be getting into a Camry! An F'n CAMRY! Do I look like I wear cardigans?

Ah, young love...

If you're going for a test drive with the other half in tow, go for two runs. Give her a chauffeur quality ride around town getting all the admiring glances and then a second one, on your own, down the back roads, lots of corners...

hes got the wrong girl mate!

mine loves it.

You speak the truth. Gina does have a lot more money though, and probably will get even richer. This is going way to off topic.

Given how lame the topic was, I reckon that's a public service.
