I don't really get it when people harp over wanting cheaper tunes.
The single most important things about any tune is the QUALITY of the tune itself and the qualiy of the after sales support. When you're messing with your tune you're messing with your motor, which is the most complicated and most expensive part of your car. Compromising quality on your tune is just dumb IMO. The current ECUflash option is way way less complicated and less expensive than going standalone and the quality & after sales support I've seen so far is excellent. If and when cheaper options come out I'm sure that some fanboys will rush in but IMO they'll all still need to prove the quality of their tunes for his car as well as demonstrate good after sales support before I'd give them any serious thought at all. Brand names mean nothing - they all rise and fall in quality. Proven solutions or GTFO IMHO.

Here's the dyno of the torque dip nearly eliminated, which does not mean gone. Opposed never said that it was completely gone. It looks like it drops maybe 5lb-ft instead of the 15lb-ft of the stock curve.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=41 Here's a post with the stock tq curve http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...2&postcount=60 I've been running the STG1 v2 flash for about 2 weeks now and the improvement of the dip on the 93 tune is very noticeable. The dip is still there, but much improved. Ruskymx |

The odds of them coming out with an AP for any FI car is about 100x more likely than them trying another NA tune. Maybe they will, but I think it is pretty unlikely. I won't be holding my breath. |

I'll be getting mine dyno'd at Cobb as well, even if I'm not running an AP.

This is an extremely old video
This was originally posted just after the offical lanuch of the FRS Given how much time has passed I would expect a AP to be out already if they wanted too. Also the number of guys with connections with Cobb have spoken to them and were told they are currently interested in the platform

Doesn't matter you would want to put out a product that can uphold your reputation. They will wait until they can tune it on fi as that will be their greatest marketing tool
