I did my Alignment today, I got -1.6 and -1.4 , did 1/8" toe out front and 1/4" toe in rear.

That does seem like a lot, I would have dialed in 1/16" total out for starters.

I just put in my crash bolts but don't have the camber gauge here nor the strings as I borrow them from my co-driver. So with that disclaimer I was shocked to see the change in the camber bolts did not seem to affect toe at all. This appears to be due to the geometry of the toe arm/link. This would explain why a poster in another thread said he had zero toe after install on an arrangement that you would think would add some toe-in when you add negative camber. I'll validate this later when I have time to string up the car and really get aggressive with camber all around like Simmons did.

I just went back to zero toe in the rear (from 1/8 total) -- car got a bit pushy after we added the bar.

Should i have added toe out up front instead?

It's a preference thing though physics say a bit of toe out should be better. I often run zero front toe if the car is also a street car.

EDIT: took it over to my buddy's house to check the camber. Both front sides are -1.6. Left rear is -1.6, right rear is -1.9 (but garage was suspect there as I couldn't get the rear wheels on the level part).

I have zero toe in front and 1/8 in for the rear. I do plan on marking stuff so I can go more aggressive once I get to the events if need be. No trailer for my car at least not for local events.

It will be interesting to see the setup iterations as things progress. Also interested in how the frs might be setup differently with the different spring rates. I have yet to drive one to see how different they are. Although part of me feels in the end once you do shocks and bars they will end up about even.

Hawk HP+ fronts and ATE super blue are going in tomorrow and the first test is on Sunday at NYR. I'm wondering if I should have gotten the Hawks for the rear too...

As long as the rim width and diameter stay the same as stock you're good. Fit as wide a tire as you can. I run 225/45/17 star specs.
