I'm interested in getting XM to work on the standard (non-BeSpoke) radio. If you have the part numbers needed, I'd appreciate them greatly. I was going to upgrade to an X940BT, but will hold off if I can get XM working with the standard radio.

Thanks!

My guess is you just need to buy the Pioneer satellite receiver and antenna adapter parts, about $125 new for both pieces.

I bet Crutchfield (1.888.955.6000) could set you up with parts to install XM/Sirus.

After trying out the touch screen Double-DIN's at best buy I realize that I hate them all. They are all ugly, unresponsive, overpriced turds. Therefore, I want to add XM to the stock HU. Can somebody post up exactly what parts we would need and maybe do a howto?

Will this work with the base headunit? http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...dio/GEX-P920XM . What other parts are needed?

Are we talking about the Bespoke system or the stock radio? That said, what would somebody need for the bespoke system?

We should have the part numbers for both. I didn't want the bespoke because it's pretty much worthless with Android.

Agreed. Part numbers for both would be very useful for all of us.

Bottom line. Stock Pioneer sucks. Worst ever. Not loud enough. No XM. Streaming is going to get expensive. Scions sitting on their thumbs doing nothing.

So, I called Crutchfield and they were unable to help. They have no information on the car yet, so they can't provide me with any part numbers. Ugh, why is this so difficult???

It looks like Specialized-Performance is one of the only ones to get it to work. Hopefully they can get us some part numbers.

Specialized-Performance - can you help us out here and provide the required part numbers?

Thanks!

Okay, so after searching and searching, I believe this is the XM Tuner needed:

Part #: 86180-0W032

...mentioned in this thread here

Specialized-Performance - can you confirm this is the tuner you installed??

Wouldn't the fit kit be the same for the 2012 tc? I think it has the same pioneer head unit (without bespoke). I'm not sure what comes with the fit kit. Does it come with the wiring harness and antenna?
