I'm sure it can sit above the AC line. Its obnoxious hanging out in the air anyway!

the lack of joints doesnt really add any more functionality. and if you think would then i wouldnt see the need for a strut bar at all since there are no joints between the top hats to begin with

not sure what you mean by no joints btw the top hats? do you mean the strut towers? the purpose of a strut bar / strut tower brace is to prevent any movement of the towers. if you place a pivot right along the axes you're trying to prevent movement of, then what's the point of the bar?

to state it another way: show me an OEM strut bar with pivot in it. they're solid all the way across. i think multi-national corporations with thousands of engineers and R&D budgets of hundreds of millions know what they're doing. if strut bars with pivots in them were effective, we'd see them installed by OEMs.

not trying to start a flame war. let's just agree to disagree. back on topic...

just because there arent joints, doesnt mean it works. the struts are already connected without joints. the joints on a bar doesnt allow the struts to move laterally in relation to eachother just the same as one that does. the bottom of the struts will however move laterally in realtion to the top with joints in the strut bar or not.

it's called a strut tower brace, but it's job is to brace the engine bay, preventing it from flexing, and changing the suspension geometry. it doesn't act on the struts

if you want to discuss further, PM me. let's not crowd this thread with off-topic posts

So, when do we see it being installed?

When do we see a price?
