The Black car that was on display in these photos was drivable on Saturday. It had some serious knocking coming from the back right. Not too suprising though, the drivers were really putting it to them.

Yeah, after we finished the Scion guys went right out onto the course and resumed thrashing the cars...

Anyone know if we can find out if they used the stock pads/rotors/fluids?

Also, Does anyone else agree with me on the stock brakes?

As stated, they probably used aftermarket Pads and maybe even Fluid.

I received an email from Scion about the event a while back, I think I was on an FRS Mailing list. If you search Scion First Drive and your city, you should be able to find something. A lot of the events in the North and East coasts have already happened and I believe they are making their way to the west coast.

I was up there saturday, the earlier you showed up the better because there was hardly anyone there, my friend counted 8 laps, changing cars here and there, at the end they turned all the nannies off.

I had a blast, i only hit cones on my second run in the white one, on the first turn after that first swervey straight. the scion guy with the video camera followed the rest of my run that lap. pretty much followed the cars after anyone made noise and hit cones, lol.

the TRD exhaust sounds great, love the tips, and the red is beautiful in person.

I heard a squeak/chirp from all of them, the white one had a rhythmic drone/thump from something near the front driver wheel too.
you could see that these cars had been run rough, aside from the noises they were still rolling like champs.

the guy also said that these were the same tires you would get if you opted for the optional wheel package from scion.
