I kinda want them to scrap the ft-s name, Drop the mk1 with a n/a fb20 as the celica and the mk3 with a F/I fb25 as the supra( or some other higher trim if you supra guys would feel offended)

I see a lot of people picked the best looking version imho. I hope that jack hollis gets a whiff of this thread to see which one we want more. I hope the real car looks 95% like mk3 or else a lot of people will be disappointed.

Longer and wider for each successive iteration, however the FR-S is much lower than the other two, which gets me excited. I'll bust a nut if the height ends up under 4'.

The press announcement admitted the 10" wheel width is extreme, so shave off at least two inches in the width for production wheels and less bulged fenders and you're back to FT-86 I width. Also, shave off a few inches for the cartoon rear diffuser and pointy front end and we're back to FT-86 I length too.

In the end, none of the prototypes matter. What matters are the production numbers.

Exactly. Mk1 still looks the closest to the production model "look" of a new car.

You have to barrel roll under your gullwing doors to get in AND lay down to drive. O_O

when the mk ii came out it only beat the mk i by 12.5 percentage points. the FR-S is beating the mk i by almost 50% of the vote!!! looks like they're definitely moving in the right direction according to the majority!!! mk ii only got 7 percent lol.

There's a good reason for it. I can't believe some people dislike the FR-S styling. I guess some people don't care for exotic styling.

I agree that the Mk3 is much nicer than the Mk2. But I still think the Mk1 is the best. Remember the majority thought that the Mk2 was better than the Mk1, and we all know what everyone thinks about the Mk2 now. I think Mk3 is getting a big spike since it is the newest concept released so we have a lot of new people joining and visiting just like with the Mk2 over the Mk1.

I'm 5'5" and I sure as hell don't feel sorry for tall people...small cars is where us shortys shine. We get ridiculed for being short but let them have their basketball, we'll keep the small sports cars...lol

lol i actually voted for the mk i, although i do like the mk iii a lot. i like exotic styling but you gotta remember this car isn't gonna have the power #s of an exotic. it's a close call for me, but i think i'm starting to lean more towards the mk iii as well. gonna have to take back my vote..
