Yep. Having a aggressive negative camber front and rear is a game changer in DST.

Good luck with the build. It's just going to get better and better.

SPC lower control arms are not ST legal last I checked, they use a spherical bearing on the inboard side instead of elastomer.

"Get the ultimate in performance and handling with this stamped arm featuring our new xAxis Sealed Joint which performs like a pillow joint but lasts like an OE joint."

Cheap and easy (should be <$300) is the whiteline version that puts a polyurethane bushing in that spot. Although I've had issues with it slipping (pretty much entirely due to street driving) - haven't roughed them up yet in an attempt to get better bite, but that's all I can think of to fix them without spending $$$.

Seems like swapping the upper control arm is the latest hotness, but at >$600 I'm not excited about it, at least you can shed some weight and stiffen up those bushings in the process.

Cusco upper arms are ~$400 imported from Japan, wildly cheaper than the US distributor pricing and cheaper than the "good" lower arms that people spend a LOT of money on.

I rode in with Evan LeBlanc this past weekend and holy shit. I've sat with fast drivers, but Evan is different.

Also, I still hate 2nd gear on the 18 BRZ. Im thinking mimicking his setup which the main difference is he has an Equal Lenght Header and ECUTEk instead of OFT. The header was weird, part of the piping would stick up near the radiator fan.

It's a double edged sword depending on your lot size and course design. Our smaller lots love it. I like when you're just getting to limiter or maybe even well under it. Then when it's a wide open venue or course and you're having to go into 3rd or stuck on the limiter a while - eh, 100% with you. It sucks.

I'm on 245/40 vs 45. Might do 45 next year. We'll see.

.... I should really get around to doing a header and tune. I was like 7th in raw out of 65 at the last event here locally and that extra power could have been a little bit more needed. Couldn't hurt, right?

100% Agree. With other group I run with, courses are on a skidpad and you won't ever really hit the limiter, but on tight turns that 2nd gear lower RPM is a killer.
