I guess I’m missing something here… I been running an aim mxs strada dash for almost a year in my daily / track car without a single issue.

What is the specific problem you were seeing here?

Unless you do the full pedal dance, the SC is never really off. And if it thinks there is inside wheel lift, it absolutely will grab the brakes.

It sent me into 2 or 3x 360s across the middle of a track on a high G/high speed turn in the middle of a race that scared the shit out of me. I thought for sure I was about get T-boned but luckily everyone avoided me. It was absolutely mental.

I moved to Motec the next day.
Agreed -- if you track your car and you're turning off the nannies, use the pedal dance, esp if you have a non-Kouki.

Update... It works! Did it for probably less than $30... might be less than $25. All I used was
- HK1582 for $15.95 plus shipping
- 2 pole rocker switch from O'Reilly's
- rocker switch mount
- Add a fuse tap kit
- wire and connectors

Wired it in just like my other one and have a rocker switch as a "valet" switch under the dash in case my son or someone borrows my car. It won't stop them from pushing the button by the stick shift but it at least won't turn off all the time automatically.

I might do another one of these in my wife's Honda passport to turn off the autostart.

AIM MXP caused limp mode some times. About 20% of the time.

The Solo2 DL was fine.
