You can also adjust how it hangs by getting slightly longer polyurethane hangers, which may put a little space between the tips and the cutouts.

Swapping the two right hangers to these extended-style hangers which have multiple holes for some adjustment sorted it out.

Trying to keep the rear JDM hangers that are installed before ordering more hangers...
Loosened up the two slip joint clamps and rotated the elbow(shown in red) that clears the diff to see if I could move the tips around at all. After the adjustment the right side tip went inward and maybe down a smidge; enough I readjusted both tips in/out. Going to try it like this and keep an eye on it. ![]()

Chiming in since I bought this catback used off of someone who ran it with the whole 9 yards (HKS dual resonated front pipe, tomie UEL header and overpipe) I have a 2023 with full stock exhaust other than the catback.
The problem I have is the strong smell of fumes coming out of the tips. At first I suspected of a leak in between the connections but didn't see any bubbles with the soapy water test and I dont sense the smell coming from the middle of the car, only the rear where it exits. The catback isn't in perfect condition and I see soot within the pipe and the tips when I had it disassembled assumed it was normal use and wear. I suspect that all the catless gunk from the previous guy is soaked into the exhaust and its just blowing that nasty catless fume. But the other way I see it is that everyone who run this CSG catback seems to go the whole 9 yards with catless headers and such, so I'm curious to know the condition of everyone's catback and if there is such issue you guys have faced. I love the sound of this exhaust but unfortunately the fume is killing me (physically and mentally lol) |

I had zero issues with fumes, I suspect yours has soot and crud inside from having no cats. I'd drive it a while and let it burn the crud off.

Agreed probably just buildup in the system that needs to be burned off.

Can you take a video of it? I believe there’s a whole one videos of it on a stock gen1 and so you’d probably be the only video showing what it sounds like on gen2.. |

It's as quiet or quieter than stock.

Like DocWalt said, its quiet. It's got a good bass and hum to it. No drone, super tame, lowkey, and fly under the radar. It's most noticeable from 2-3k rpm during take off, and also on decel which I like because it actually sounds like a sports car now. Cabin sound level is similar to the fake engine sound, but it sounds so much better and natural. |

How is it at highway coasting, 65-70mph? It’s entirely possible it’s inaudible in that circumstance but I’ve never had anyone to ask before! |
