A few houses away from me there's an old guy that has a mint looking brown Cordoba with a Landau roof. It's in the garage and he cleans it on nice days. His sons both have new Lexuses. I do remember that commercial really well. Good thing they didn't get Herve Villechaize to do ads for MG Midget.

Sounds pretty masculine in the UK.. I know, 'pretty and masculine' don't sit well together, hay ho..

England for sure has produced cars with crazy names in the past.

Brother in law was slightly outbid on a beautifully restored 56 Austin Healy last week at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale.

I like the name Sunbeam Tiger. It did have a tiger under the hood.

Porsche gets the award for oddball names as does their parent company VW.
Taycan? Macan? Tiguan (tiger/iguana)?? Crapcan.

Mach-E. I laugh everytime I hear it. In a Newfoundland, ultra-fast talking, bayman accent, it's gonna be MOCKY. Couldn't buy one of those things even if I liked electric vehicles for the same reason I laugh at my Kuny tool bag. Too much laughing.

And how did Toyota make the transition from "Highlander" in North America to "Kluger" in Australia?

Chevy Nova in spanish mean "will not go" or no va.

AMC Gremlin...though truth be told, as I kid raised in Charlotte, NC...there was a drag race Gremlin that use to run at Charlotte Motor Speedway that use to tickle my fancy.

I will see if I can find a picture of it...it was locally famous.

I don't know if this was it, but it looked a lot like this. Red with a hood scoop. This was back in the 90s btw.

Ahh I can't believe I forgot to add this one.

Mazda Titan Dump.

Maybe that one should go in most funny.

The Dump part is more of a descriptor than an actual part of the name.

Definitely true but, you can sort of blame Mazda when they actually still call it that also leave out the truck bit.
