Yeah, I said that - and I succeeded in achieving that goal. I know much more now about what my new car, which is driven by MYSELF, is doing if pushed close to the limit of adhesion. And I had a BLAST - which was the most important. I wasn't there to win CS-class...
Coaching is always great and if I have a chance to get a ride along with Perry I would definitely take up on that offer with great pleasure. Why didn't you it mention to me yesterday, that is was actually an option?
Also since you rode with me 2 times yesterday, I would really appreciate if you could give me some points on how I could have improved?

right.. that's exactly why they should be sitting in with him for a lap or two.

There never actually was a thread on this. It was discussed in the June meet thread the say after the event. I believe engee suggested it at the meet too.

Yea man. You did an awesome job, especially being a first timer!

I definitely didn't run as well as I would've liked. But it happens though. Hope to see you out there more in the future!

Ditch the OE tires once you're ready to autox more often. This cars comes alive with just new tires. My star specs feel awesome. The Michelins get oily real quick and overheat really fast.

Agreed! OEM tires definitely overheat easy and become very greasy! What sizes Star Specs did you get? OEM or went up in size?

I was looking at the star specs as well. For RTR, I can change the size of the tires but not the size of the wheel right?

^ that's right. For RTR, you need to keep the same height vs width of the OEM wheel. But you can change to a different offset (need to confirm by how much).

I went with 225/45/17 Dunlop Star Specs. Should be about $650 for a whole set. There is a lot more contact patch on the star specs compared to the primacies. Plus they look pretty B.A. too. Some guys go with the Hankook RS3 which is slightly cheaper but tends to be crappy in the rain which is something to really consider if you daily drive on the tires like i do. The star specs rock. They're a little loud on the highway but nothing crazy.
