1st Autocross w/ my FR-S
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjhczP15Y-U"]2013 Scion FR-S Autocross - YouTube[/ame]
1st Autocross event , what a Great day !! Very impressed w/ stock platform! Hankook RS3 will be on for next event, I wanted to feel total stock setup 1st. Everyone was thrown off asking how I had car already, lots of compliments and remarks of how flat in remained through the course. I will keep eye on the Autocross page for pics to share. After coming from numerous 300+hp turbo cars ( STi's / BMW's ) the FR-S def is an adjustment and I do miss that some, but the way the car drives/handles makes up for it on the track! 2nd gear whole track was perfect gearing, made it easy. I played w/ a few GoPro mount locations, but liked this one w/ the 86 Logo Best

C-Stock , but was saying Super Stock or Time only since new car, and some non sense about not having 1000 sold in US yet, but agreed. They use PAX Times so I was grouped w/ other stock class cars. A BMW M3 took 1st, I got 2nd. Not sure his time. I know a S2000 was B-Stock and he had like 3-4 sec on me, oops! But was Fun times battling the course and learning the car

That Chicago box was HUGE! My region sets those up to be only slightly smaller than two parking spaces.
The car looked good though. A bit squirrelly, but that can change with sticker tires. I'm really looking forward to driving my BRZ in an AutoX. |

The course looks like it would be better suited for higher horsepower vehicles. Lots of straight sections.
Anyhoo, You handled the course very well. Cant wait to see more. Maybe next time the course will be set up with more corners and less straights. |

Thanks for the vid, good to see the car in action. Hopefully I'll be doing the same in a couple of weeks. Tires have already been delivered, just need the car to put them on!
