Yeah I'm kind of curious about this too. I'd like to know what changes were made from the FA20 in our cars to the factory turbo model in the new jdm legacy.

I bet 12psi on e85 is possible. Hell, even running 100 octane you could do 12psi pretty easy.

I've never assembled a flat motor before. After a previous response I went looking for an explanation on youtube. Yeah, it's pretty self evident why a floating wrist pin would always be used.

Thanks for answering my stupid question.

so, now to revive this thread....

I just seen this while searching for these types of posts.

Looks like we still don't know how much the stock internals can hold as far as boost or power... So far Don is at 20psi and about 461whp and nothing on the engine is going out. So far its just his trans thats giving slight problems!

Any more words on the rods or pistons? such as price? Thanks

Whats the max boost you can run with 10:1 compression ratio pistons on 93? Not everyone wants to run meth or e85. I was under the impression that 10:1 is still high for a boosted application.

Depends. I know a lot of F20's running 30+ psi on stock 11:7.

So its safe to run 30 psi on 10:1 CR on 93 with these motors? Assuming the tune is good.

depends on the turbo. how does it matter what psi you run, its the power/torque thats the limiting factor
