Im 27, no wrecks, no tickets, ect. I pay $50/month to insure the BRZ fully with $500 deductibles (in oregon I could set the deductibles to $1000).

Probably go down. I know with some insurance companies part of the pricing is based off of the value of the car. Not to mention that the BRZ is a lower performance rating than the evo in the insurance companies eyes.

I have an M3, 240sx, and an STI on mine with full coverage for $86 a month. Sold the STI, got the FRS, and now I am over $100 a month. Lame.

I'm guessing it'll go down.
2011 Scion tC was 20% more expensive than 2013 Scion FR-S. I think they don't have enough information on these car for the rates as of now, so the premium is not been calculated fairly. But, I'd think it will go up slowly if people keep getting into accident more often than the other cars...

Generally vehicles that are AWD or 4WD will be more expensive to insure than any 2wd car. The reason being, an AWD/4WD is at a higher risk as you can drive it more places than a normal car. Age of a car and its risk factor are variables in how insurance rates differ. It's no surprise you will pay more insurance for a brand new 2013 FR-S/BRZ compared to a 10 year old BMW or etc.

I'm going this morning to see a BRZ in Plano, but it's sold already. Just wanting to see one in person. I'm hoping to have mine by October, but I may have to pick one up outside of Texas and drive it home. Just trying to get all my ducks in a row before the big day!

Yeah, the rattles and the low quality plastics are pretty annoying. The FR-S/BRZ seems to have a much more solid interior. Plus, the lower center of gravity, manual transmission, and rear wheel drive make it more fun. But the Evo X MR is a beast. I sound like Tsuchiya when I let it loose. "Oooooh fast. This is fast! Damn, this is fast. Faaaaaast. FAST!" LOL
