A guy could show up with a Formula 1 car, from the turbo era, with 1400 HP from a 1.5L, and still would not draw as much attention as a girl with a sports car.

About that time, there was the sound of a P51 behind us landing at the airport. All 3 of us turned away from the women just as they got in prime viewing range and looked at the airplane, then at each other, and laughed when we realized what we had done. I learned two things from that experience. First, guys in packs are sometimes focused too much on their current mission to enjoy something new right in front of them. Second, I had finally reached the conclusion I was "old". Why, well, when I first saw these ladies walking towards me, I instinctively looked at the Mother first.
