New FR-S girl owner!!!!
Hello guys!
So I bought my FR-S a few weeks ago and I simply love it!!! I had the chance to test drive it @ Shannonville (ON) on June 16 with Scion Canada, and this is the reason why I finally make the choice to get one. I was driving a Toyota Yaris for 6 years, doing track as soon as I could. Here is a picture of my old car: http://img.overpic.net/thumbs/v/4/q/...4jqsvbv1_s.jpg I had a lot of fun with it, it is a very surprising car! But, after I my day at Shannonville, I decided to change the Yaris for the FR-S. So, we started to part out the Yaris :brokenheart: http://img.overpic.net/thumbs/k/i/6/...a5gqdpzy_s.jpg I was quite sad, but forget it as soon as I sat my ass in my new toy!! :happyanim: http://img.overpic.net/thumbs/o/f/p/...s2vzt49z_s.jpg http://img.overpic.net/thumbs/z/l/l/...v5c8nzru_s.jpg http://img.overpic.net/thumbs/a/p/8/...zldhlqsa_s.jpg I'm still doing track with the FR-S, what an amazing track car it is!!! I'll keep you posted with my updates and track pictures!!! Cheers! |

Congrats and welcome! What do you have in mind for mods? Did you keep the pink RPF1's?
|
Very cool, Ive always said the scene needs more female enthusiasts!
Glad to have you. |

Congrats - and excellent color choice as well ;)

Thank you!!!
No, I couldn't keep the RPF1, they were 4X100 in 15" :( Too bad, I would have love to have them on the FR-S!! As for the mods, I will change the suspension (looking for coilovers) and wheels+tires (something like RE11 or RS3, I had RE11 on the Yaris, great tires!!). I'll maybe change the CAI.....nothing more, I'll keep money for the track :) |
Believe it or not... I was actually debating going for a Yaris over the FR-S this time around. I was attracted by its simplicity, lightness, build quality, and lower price...
... But then I was suddenly more attracted by a well-engineered, true sports car developed straight from the manufacturer (FR-S). :D That Yaris can be a lot of fun though, I'm sure of it... Congrats on the new car! |
Welcome to the forum. There are some great resources on here for are cars. For example check out Racecomp's write up on our stock struts (under their spring thread).
