Highest seating position is also lower by 1.5" or so, but that is why they make extra cushions! The modification does retains the stock tracks and adjusters so while it may or may not actually BE legal in a stock class, it would be impossible to spot in tech without fully disassembling the seat.

Down side: requires some cutting and welding on the seat and some modification to the cushion to retain stock comfort after the mods. Takes about 5-6 hours all in. 2-3 if you want to do the foam cushion work yourself. We tried like hell to get it done as a bolt in, but unfortunately it is impossible for a number of reasons. Labor rate is $85/hr.
Would you be willing to share how one can DIY it?
I presume everyone who could be your client has already got their seat lowered in these 7 years
