Depends on what you are doing.
If you are running GTA street class you can only swap from engines of the same manufacturer. Engine swaps are to be of the same configuration (i.e. FWD to FWD and AWD to AWD) and be of the same manufacturer.

When FA24's become available, and some brave ones figure out how to mate the new engine with the old rest of the car,
curious how much more expensive an FA24 will be compared to swapping an FA20. After all, FA20's in the 1st gen cars will keep blowing up. If the price difference is not that large, and one needs to put an engine in, might as well opt for an FA24 instead. That's of course assuming physically fitting it into a 1st gen car is not too hard. |

Not understanding there is a major distinction with how that hybrid build works. |

What do we know about the gen2’s trans, is it different enough to cause issues? I’m 10% hopeful it’s going to be difficult. I’m 50/50 it can be made to work without a crap ton of modifications.
