OS has a stress fracture in paint running the opposite direction to the split near the end of the split. The NS has an extra tear that started but ceased because it tore at the split 1st. It also has cracks or damage to the black headlight surround near the split that has contacted the bar and caused minor damage to the bar also. If you compare both pictures in these corners where the split starts you will see the different clearances of the bar and the headlight surround where the bar has settled after an impact.

Just to add my two cents:

Last year someone in a Silverado backed into my parked car (nose pointing out) at work. I had to get the bumper repaired and repainted.

This is an example of what it looked like post accident:



Basically after the repair, I noticed a similar (though much smaller) hairline crack and slight webbing (can't even be seen in the photo) right in the same spot on IIRC the driver side where the bumper meets the corner of the headlight.



So anyway, I bet your car was in a similar accident, although it seems like it took more force than mine did.

It seems like if the body shop doesn't do a great job with the clips they can also cause those types of cracks.
