So a few weeks ago I was driving home from work and I was getting on to the highway from a ramp going about 30-40 mph. In the middle of switching lanes, I guess I hit a pothole or something so bad that the car jumped up. Pulled over to check if I got a flat and to my surprise I had this huge crack in my front bumper. The car is a lease but I am 85% sure I am going to keep it after the lease term is up. I want to fix this crack but I also don't want to spend an arm and a leg getting a nee bumper and having to get it painted. Any advice? Is there a front splitter I can get that would cover most if not all of it? Or like an aftermarket bumper? I know I said I dont want to deal with paint and stuff but I think itd be worth it if it was aftermarket and it would make the car look better. Just looking to not break the bank. Thanks in advance guys!

You can get some ABS glue and glue the crack back together.

Bumpers are made of ABS plastic. ABS plastic is the same plastic used for different types of plumbing. Its available at any hardware store.

Is there a certain type cause I just goolged it and theres like one for pluming, welding and so on. Which should I get? What do I have to do once the glue is on there? Will it be noticable?

I've never actually done it myself, you'll have to find someone who has.

Crazy glue bottom part, 3M clear top....or vinyl! Oh you can also wrap it?

I'd wrap like this below, although your car is not white...

If you hit a pothole that hard you also might want to check your wheel/ suspension components/ oil pan on that side.

I hit a raccoon and at first glanced I thought it had only cracked my bumper, which I zip tied back together to prevent further cracking. It ended up also bending my radiator and AC condenser.

The rubber/plastic underpart thay goes under the bumper was hanging off. I fixed that and checked everything else. It was all fine, just cosmetic damage.

I'd throw a TRD Replica kit on there.

Pretty sure they have taken care of it in the three years since the thread died.
