driving in 1st weak/stuttering feeling

I was referring more to what would happen in that car as a result of heat soak in traffic. It would buck in 1st as a result.

In general, 1st and reverse are a lot more 'touchy' than the other gears; you have to be a lot smoother with your inputs. You always have the option of moving to second gear as well.

Yea im still practicing on the stop and go part with the clutch but in this situation my foot is already off the clutch and I am just crusing around the parking lot with only the gas

1st gear when i let off the acceleration just feels like it wants to slow down bad but I guess thats normal? I do try second gearand 5-10 mph and the rattling from the transmission and sound as if the rpm is too low for the gear and its getting bogged down kills me

At parking lot speeds in 1st, you should barely have to touch the gas. Just letting your foot off the clutch and rolling will get you around 5 mph.

Yeah that's all normal. You really don't have to give it much gas at all. To me it sounds like you're giving it too much gas, then letting off, back on gas, etc. which is causing that feeling.
