Is that with you in the driver's seat?

Unless he has the lightest STX legal FRS in the world, no.

Yeah, I did the math.
I just can't imagine corner weighting the car without driver.
Maybe he always races with a passenger.

I had my car corner weighted with me in it, and looked at the cross weights and front to back percentages, and then got out of the car to see how much difference it made. It was less than a percent.
The right to left percentages were changed by 5%, though.
With me in the car:
LF 815 RF 743
LR 650 RR 577
My co-driver weighs about the same as me.
I have 7k front springs and 9k rear.

Maybe he just weighed the car. Put car on scales, weigh car. People do it all the time.

Here is the weight/balance with 160 lbs. ballast in the driver seat. Not quite as good, but not far enough off for me to worry about screwing with it.

I'm on 5k/8k and stock diff, but it's not by design. I bought tigermack's car in January, after he'd sold the Giken. This is the first substantially modified car I've driven, so I don't have much frame of reference. The one thing that's disappointed me with the handling has been that it seems looser on corner exit than I expected (although maybe less so since I just switched to Yokos). I'm sure that's due mostly to my mediocre skills, but would this setup be contributing? I'm thinking about squaring up the springs this winter.

Pretty normal it is a bit too loose on power IMO. I am on stock lsd and ran 5k/8k shortly as well, now on 350/450 and really happy with the Karcepts front sway bar and softer than oem rear sway bar.

I have 500/lb springs all the way around on RCE T2, car has always been loose, I am fine with oversteer, but know it kills the tires/looses some time. I am at -2.5* camber in the rear, so guess I am less than most with dedicated STX setups.

If you've got a few events under your belt (or at least a solid TnT) just change something. More front spring or bar might help you build confidence in the car. Hell even just dropping the rear ride height or upping the front tire pressures, maybe a few clicks on the rear damper. You can always backtrack if you don't like it.

Alignment can play a pretty big role as well but you probably got decent specs to start with.
