First knife finished. I had a lot of things done, but didn’t come out the way I wanted, so grind it down again. In the end, I went to “old” or “used” knife looked to it, so regrind bevels w rougher grits to leave marks & reapply the Super Blue and sand it down a bit.
I’ll do all the carbon fiber & other stuff next one. |

But he has a 2017 BRZ and he did a full LS swap himself I believe, and it's so well-done that if the car is parked and turned off, you'd never know it. Even the fancy LCD cluster from the Limited trim works with it. Interior looks the same, etc. Total sleeper till he starts it up. I think the first engine he used blew up though, so IIRC he's on his 2nd one. Not sure exactly what types they were.

This is such a bad advice IMO. Even more so as someone who bought a C7 back in 2014 right before deciding to go off the deep end with the twin after poping the first engine. There is a difference in wrenching on a car every few weekends and chasing a neverending project. And great, now I sound like my dad. :P

K24 then That’s my plan. 220-230whp stock in a twin. The hurdle is buying the engine management.

What hurdle? The $6k hurdle? LOL. At least Pure has it figured out. That's a plus

Yeah that hurdle. Full functionality of the car like it came that way is pretty damn sweet.

C5 and C6 FTW. C7 is ugly except in white. C8 is interesting. Or a 911.
