OFT Keep plugged in without killing battery?

That makes more sense. I will run it for a day after a new flash to make sure it's happy, then log with it for a few days after I have some mileage on the new flash. I see some guys in the OFT group on FB and some on here run it all the time and I don't get that.

I also run the OFT all the time. It is useful to monitor oil temperature, IAM, and some other stuff on occasion. Just sits in front of my redundant analog speedometer and gives me info I wouldn't have otherwise.

Thanks, that's what I had thought but was getting confused when I was being told to buy a switch for just the cable. But yea I do the same as I have the cable zip tied to the side so it doesn't hit my leg and that'd be a pain to have to unplug and reassemble.

I just put the tablet in the glove box when I get out of the car, more so because I hear people like to steal them over the fear of battery drain
