A 5x114.3 swap would beef up your failure point, since they have beefier bearings IIRC... or, since it's a probably a heat thing, maybe titanium brake shims and/or two-piece rotors, to keep heat from from cooking that grease into ineffectiveness. Two piece rotors would probably cost more than the 114.3 swap, but they sure would look cool and do a ton to reduce rotating/unsprung mass. I ran DBA 5k's on my spec B and loved them.
-3.2F, -2.2 rear and zero toe. Running BBK with two piece rotors already. Stock wheels on the street with 10mm spacers in the front to clear brakes. Track wheels are 17X9 +38. I don't get it, I am not doing anything different then anyone else.

I think it is a conspiracy by "big bearing" to make me spend more money on bearings so they can take my money and keep me down.

FT86SF or you can order them through the dealer. They also pop up on eBay. I bought mine from a member here.

Sounds like you're pretty far down the path. At a certain point, they do become regular wear items like pads or rotors. Big bearing wins again!

I think I have a set of titanium shims from TiC kicking around, might be worth a shot.

Today filled the tank 105th time and got my second highest MPG (36.9). Tracking with Fuelly. Average on Fuelly and the dash is also very close for the 25k tracked. Happy BRZ owner

Ended up being a bad spherical joint on my toe arm. Much easier fix.

Kenwood looks good and if you like it better than that's money well spent for you. However, I fail to see why you'd change when the stock unit does the same thing.
Does the one piece dash trim have the same size cutout as the stock piece? I installed an aftermarket 6.95in Sony AX5000 and had to get a bracket to fill the gaps. Looks a lot cleaner with your one piece!

The single piece dash trim has the cutout to accommodate the 200mm head units without the need for the side brackets to fill the gaps. But you must search for the 200mm head units specifically if you don't want to use the brackets.

installed coilovers and 18x9.5 +38 ambit wheels with nankang NS-25 265/35/18 tires. rides way better than my old setup can't believe it was $900 for the wheels and tires. rides better than my stock suspension with some bridgestone tires. need an alignment but honestly can't tell while driving. drives straight and no change from before I installed the coilovers....probably have some messed up toe or something though.

Do you feel this piece was worth the high price? Also do you know which model you got? There are close to 6 different ones on ft86speedfactory and they all look basically the same but some has a status light and others do not.

Been tempted to get this for a long time..

Got mine for ~$96 shipped from a dealer. Should have seen if my dealer would price match another and got it for $85.
