installed new trunk lid/wing/sequential tail lights
So-it turns out the donor car I've been getting upgrade parts for my 2016 Series Hyper Blue, was the Toyko Auto Salon Concept STI BRZ Subaru built for the show. It was parted out and shipped to US after the show w/only 400 miles on it.
I bought the 18" STI gloss black wheels, w/Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, and all 4 Brembo brakes, calipers/rotors/larger backing plates. Swaping out the rears were a pain, as the axle nut, hub/bearing assembly need to come off to remove the smalller OEM backing plate Parking brake assy, shoes, springs, etc need to be dis-assembled, then the Brembo parking brake parts have to be disassembled, then re-assembled on the car w/new larger rotors. Not too hard but time due to the process. Now all installed and the brakes feel super! My parts source let me know the trunk w/updated 2017-on wing was available. I love my hyper-blue but the original spoiler/wing bugs me. It's too thick and not as graceful as the updated one. So I've been looking for a 2017 or newer trunk to swap with and will have it painted hyper blue to match. But after installing it-and the special silver Subaru used for the concept car looks more like raw Stainless Steel than silver paint and I like the two tone look-to my surprise. So for now, I'm leaving it silver-and may paint it later to match car. BTW-wheels, car really dirty-it's been raining a lot here and I'm lazy. Here's some pics. PS-Also installed from F86 speed factory the sequential tail lights. Super easy install and I like them alot. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New Sequential turn signal tail lights installed below ![]() Here's 2017 STI Concept car my parts came off of-at Toyko Auto Salon

Sick! Which wing are you going with? The big GT one or the LF Sport version?

Thought I'd play today with the camber bushings in the new dampers, and see how easy it actually is to change the camber setting from -1.5 to -2.5.
Amazing, once you have the wheel off, it takes all of about 3 minutes per side, and is ultra precise. Seems an extremely simple system for camber adjustment. Lyndon |

Installed the Verus end plates, Dive planes since it was there. Also did the center close out panels and CF driveshaft. This completes the Ventus 3 package on my car, except the side splitters since I have the STI side splitters. Now I just wish the track would open!
