Redlining isn’t beating on it. It’s loving on it. Also redlining isn’t banging limiter its shifting at 7200+rpm but before limiter. Redline a day keeps the issues away. |

7500rpm
I thought redline mark was at 7200, but i just checked looks like its 7400. A lot of cars have the redline before limiter as more of a warning. In my defense my cars been on stands for 2 weeks now in surgery. Either way I’d say 7200+ is close enough to redline to consider it redlining. Don’t need to bang off limiter each shift. |

My car starts to fall off at around 7200 anyway. I went to a 4.3 FD but extended my rev limit. There are a couple sections of track I would be bouncing the limiter, but a shift is not worth it.

If someone says they shift at redline I’m not assuming they are banging limiter at 7400. I’m not assuming they are literally shifting on the redline. They’ll say i shift at limiter, off limiter, bang limiter etc.. shifting at redline to me is shifting above 7200rpm but before whatever you have limiter set to. |

And you can still drive on the street without needing to shift at redline.
