These look heavy for 16".
And not sure that rare sizing/PCD. Wasn't it common enough for older subbies, and smaller diameter wheels more common in past? If anything rare, then offset, as again, for wheels of many older cars it often was higher, but one can easily fix/space out those tucked in wheels with spacers though.

no. 16x6, 16x7 was about the widest it usually went. Anything wider was a bigger wheel. Maybe if you go back 30+ years you might find lots of really wide 16" tires, but back then they used smaller tires. The MK2 Supra came with 14" wheels and tires.

Still, light 16 in my book is more like 5.#kg (yeah, i know of TWS T66-F 16x7 of 4.82kg), 7.1 seems midweight for 16". My R17 wheels are 6.2kg

I predict that wider then 7" R16 wheels being uncommon may also mean very limited tire selection.

yes at that point you need to find the tire first. Even at 205/55 you need to find a tire you want and then the wheel.

The Konig Oversteer is mildly brickish at 17.9 lbs, being cast, but you get that 16x7.5" and 5x100 bolt-pattern. I've been on mine for about six years now. Paint has held up great. No chips, blisters, or scratches. Tires hold air fine.

Yeah, I think I recall when you first purchased yours, you posted them up in the wheel thread...they're a good looking wheel, for sure, and in a pinch (haha...see what I'm doing here?), a 245/45 will work on a 7.5" rim. It's at the bottom end of the spectrum for that tire size, but only a 1/2" narrower than the recommended standard.... If I were still on stockers, I'd certainly consider them, as I did when I was shopping. In the end I lucked out and found a lightly used set of very light weight forged 16x7 ET40 wheels (12.5 pounds) for very short money.

I run 16's now and with tire they're on a couple of lbs less than stock. I just found these. They're being blasted and painted shortly. 10.4lbs

What wheels did you find again? I'm certain you've posted but can't remember.

I found an early set from Motegi's forged line...these are Forged Tracklites. I know I've posted them; I assume it was in either the wheel thread or maybe one of the 16" wheel threads? At any rate, this model isn't made any more and I was getting a little worried about putting a dent in one, since I DD with them in the summer and road conditions in New England cam be pretty bleak at times. I actually managed to score a second set for similarly short money. So I street one set, and the other have my track tires on them for the time being, until the inevitable happens...

225/50 with a 16x8 +30. Or maybe something from Subaru with a +55 offset and stick a meaty 25mm spacer on there.
