I'm pretty set on Enkei RPF1s, thinking of going 18x8 + 35 on all four wheels. How well will this line up with the front and rear fenders?
Most of the pictures I'm coming across are for 9.5s +35/38...

This thread should help you out. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show....php?p=3097900. Even though its a +38 offset it close enough to a +35. |

Hello everyone, I am planning to pick up RPF1's in SBC in 17x9 +35 as that is the narrowest width they have in a 17" size.
I would like to keep the tire width as narrow as possible as I understand my car is quite under powered. I am thinking 235/45/17 or 235/40/17 or 245/40/17. I am unsure how the choices will affect the performance of the car, and I do know that the 235/45/17 will result in a the car sitting higher / more ground clearance. Based on my understanding, a tire with a taller sidewall does not perform as well as a tire with a shorter sidewall in a motorsport setting. I am unsure what the pros and cons are of having a taller vs shorter sidewall. Does anyone have any insight on this? |

I have done so much research and I'm still confused on something... will this combo rub on stock suspension?
18x8.5 +45 wheels with 245/35/18 tires? |

245/35 will be square looking on the 8.5" wheel. I'm running 245/35 on 9" wide wheels and they are slightly stretched.

So as turned out where I live 245/40R17 are the most rare size tiers ever.
Does anyone know if I can fit 235/45R17 on stock car with Eibach pro kit lowering springs and front camber bolts? My wheels are 17×9 +38. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk |

You can try ordering them from tirerack.com. Yes, 235/45/17 will fit fine with Pro-Kit and those wheels. You'll actually get a little more clearance and gain more camber since the 235/45 tire wont be as wide as the 245/40.

As long as the 235/45R17 will be good and won't fuck up the gearing much I guess I'll go with it. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk |
