Please do post pics! For 17x8 I'd recommend using 225/45 instead of 245/40 though.

Thanks yeah I’ve seen the lifted BRZs haha I’ll definitely be lowering it with springs and adding camber bolts at the same time that I get the wheels mounted. If I absolutely have to, I’ll get LCA in the future, but honestly minimal, natural camber is fine (I think I’ve seen like 1.5 to 2 degrees all around)

The problem with 17x9 +40 is that you might not have enough clearance from the suspension strut in the front to get any significant camber with camber bolts.

Yes, i've read all about the 225/45 vs 245/40 i've not experienced any ill effects of using that tire size. Personally i think its all subjective. Anyway, here are the pics sorry im a n00b and dont really know how to upload pics... Hopefully this helps others to see the with fitment with an approx. 1" drop.

Wow that looks really good dude. Better than I thought honestly. Anything else other than springs? Would you happen to know the camber specs? Seems like the 245 fill up the wheel well pretty well and I would imagine it’s comfortable too. Maybe a 235 tire would be a happy medium. Thanks man that really helps my hunt lol

Thanks man! Yep, just springs on stock shocks for now. Camber bolts up front and rear lower control arms thats it. Yes my camber up front is -1.6 and the rears are -1.4 with slight toe-in. The 245/40 fit pretty nice in the wheel wells once lowered, but having lower offset will help too. I think ride comfort some what depends on the aspect ratio of the tire as well generally lower profile tires will not get you a comfortable ride.
