and yes I went to thailand and saw a Levorg... why.. why did we not get it here?? T_T also I like the compliment about realistic cars. I think it was about 19 or 20 i realized id never make enough to own something more than an audi R8 and therefore why not have many cool cars.. I think between the 190e Evo2 and the Safari Build Brz ill be broke enough as it is. Long live the Panther ! |

Why don't they? I mean.. I get if solar won't 100% replace charging, but at least have the solar panels on the roof, hood, trunk, etc. Especially here in california where most peoples cars sit out in desert sun all day while they are at work, it may recharge enough to cover their daily commute or at least offset a lot of cost and coal plant emissions. |

Mercedes had a small solar panel on the roof of some E class models years ago? Supposed to help keep the cabin cool I believe. |

Have:
2017 86 as my main daily. Want: - Toyota FJ for winter, tossing stuff in it. Would save some miles for daily use on the 86. - E30 BMW 325i. A clean example that I'd use to cruise and enjoy. I would do a S52 engine swap from a M3.(good for 240hp) Edit: want but probably won't buy Is a NSX. Last edited by RToyo86; 08-02-2019 at 09:20 AM. |

the first real issue is that i'm still adjusting to the fact that a decent car(that doesn't need $1k in parts immediately) can no longer be had for $500-1,000.

Currently have:
'13 Scion FR-S (but going up for sale starting this weekend...) '13 Nissan Frontier Goals: 1 - Keep and mod the '13 Frontier...it's not going anywhere. Have always had interest in trucks and really liked my '98 Tacoma. But I LOVE my '13 FRONTIER... perfectly sized everyday truck with nice power from the VQ40 and decent handling. Installed OME (Old Man Emu) suspension lift and it rides much better than stock. Long list of things I want to do with it, but the most pressing things are: better seats (Recaro Sportster GTs - because I know Recaros work best for my bad back - the stock seats SUCK for support and hurt me for anything over 30ish minutes), upgrade the brake pads/rotors (because stock frontier brakes are barely adequate), intake manifold spacer to increase the lowend torque curve/improve fuel effeciency, and Eaton M226 Detroit TrueTrac differential (because open differentials suck...) 2 - get a small, inexpensive, minimal, rawer I4 powered sportscar sometime later down the road and heavily, but inexpensively modify. Probably an NA miata stripped down some 1,000lbs into Exocet like form... Want lightweight, handling/precusion, and acceleration/power to weight as priorities... in that order. Also, FR is my prefered layout... not interested in FF, MR, or AWD. Always wanted to build my own car as well. I've loved the FR-S and will be sad to see it go... best car I've owned in terms of driving feel. But I've decided to move on and try to get my finances in better shape. Once I'm in a position to get another fun car it will be the route I described above.

IMO, the only reason to ever own those is to hear them sing at full throttle. anything less is just a strip tease.
