Just to be on the same page, for which wheel size do you mean the 245/40 won't fit? The 17×9 +38 or 18×9.5 +38?

And no I don't want to buy the fancy lugnuts. They cost alot tbh. If you know any good once that won't break the bank let me know.

Did you read the highlighted portion? And actually, you can just use the OEM lug nuts because they have a 60 Deg taper.

245/40-17 fit fine on stock height suspension. They just look awful because you're going to have a lot of poke and gap.

I apologize i re-read your post i honestly didnt even see you were considering the 17x9 wheel size. Yes, a 245/40/17 will fit on the 17x9 wheel on stock suspension just fine no issues there. As far as 18x9.5 +38 on stock you would need at least a 235/40/18 or 245/35/18 tire size to fit in the front. Hopefully this clears up some of the confusion. Also, keep in mind both of these tire sizes are going to poke up front on stock suspension.

Ya I'm going with the 17×9 +38 it seems the best option for me. Cheaper, lighter weight, cheaper tires and need less mods to get the perfect fitment.

So here is the available colors I can get and I'm not sure which one would look the best:

Or should I get the 18×9.5 +38 in Gun Blue II? Not sure about the fitment for the 18s on stock suspension.

Sadly only found the white on stock at FT86speedfactory. And the rest will be on stock in November. Change my plans and about to order RPF1 it's much cheaper and lighter.

FYI FT86SF just straight up doesn't say when they don't have wheels in stock on their website. I put an order down for Almite golds and they told me they'd be in stock late july. Now they're saying late August.

That's why I'm always emailing them before making any purchase. They told me it will be available by the end of November.

That's why I scratched the whole idea of getting 57CR and going with the RPF1. Cheaper, lighter and it's in stock.

Good call. After I pushed the customer support guy for a more definite ETA, he found out he was given some "incorrect info" previously and the new estimate is 4-5 months. Pretty shady IMO, now I have to get my money back.

Now I'm rethinking to get the 57CR coz I red many ppl are complaining about the RPF1 bends and I don't want that.

Btw do you think I should save a little more and get the Wedssport or same my money?

Is anyone running 235/45R17 with 17×9 +38 57CR?

I know that the more popular size to run is 245/40R17 but I can't seem to find this size where I live.

I will be running Eibach pro kit 1" and some front camber bolts.

45 is too tall. Go 235/40R17. I've run 235/40R17 on my Work CR Kiwami with same specs (17x9 +38), and there isn't enough rim protection for my liking. If I set the wheels down, the the rim is literally touching the ground. It's metal-on-metal when I stack the wheels.

245/40R17 is probably most ideal. I've only run 245/40R17 on my 57CR. With 245 sidewall, at least it sits on rubber when laid down.

That's what I'm most afraid of is the wheel protection that's why I thought if I went with 235/45 would give me a little bit of more wheels protection.

I only tires I found for 245/40R17 is Continental SportContact 5 which I red that are not ideal for DD and found Hankook ventus S1 Evo 2 not sure how good they are.
