Without re-scaling the injector table, it is so far out of range the car can't even compensate for it.

The best case scenario is the car will not run.
The middle is fuel contamination of the oil and build up in the heads.
The worst is the whole thing goes up in a ball of flame.

The engine needs the amount of fuel the ECU can deal with and anything else is literally playing with fire.

Stock port injectors are 228 cc, you instaled 700 cc, so three times te flow

The ecu doesnt know that the injectors flow 3 times more fuel unless you rescale the injector scaler in tune and alter the cranking pulse width tables for starting.

You must get it retumed if you put in bigger injectors or its jist goung to run extremly baddly if at all.

Also all that extra fuel could damage engine , remember were talking tripple the fuel

Plese get your tune modified for the bigger injector before running engine

Tell your tuner you got larger injectors, and ask him for a base map to get the car started. Most master tuners for these cars have dealt with the larger injectors before and have a general idea as to what the car needs to safely run before it can get a proper tune. Good luck.

Edit: or just have the car towed to the tuner and he'll do it all at once. Your choice.

I feel like your plan may have been to drive it with 700cc injectors at low speeds to the tuner. Bad idea even if it had started. You probably would fowl your spark plugs and your oxygen sensors and maybe melt the cats, depending on the distance.

Tow it to the tuners and then tell the tuner sorry...

Also, the injectors are directional. If they are twisted oddly then they are likely spraying fuel directly against the manifold.

More absolute power than is achievable at stock compression, or just more power on pump gas if E85 isn’t wanted or available.

I know. I meant why did he in particular drop it. Was sarcasm more than anything. At that point we had no clue if he was FI or running E85. All we knew was he had dropped the ratio and changed injectors. If people want help they need to get better at giving all of the relevant info up front instead of making everybody assume or guess.

Hold pedal to floor, crank and it should fire but I doubt you will be able to drive it. This puts the computer in flood mode and cuts fuel until it fires. Was the injectors high impedance?

He probably should have requested/bought the 700cc update/reflash before the install, so his tune was available whenever he got to the install. That's what I did. Inevitably everyone installs stuff and doesn't want to wait for the tune. They just have to try it.
