Car won’t start after installed injectors

https://youtu.be/M5Hj2SXjv4A

Decided to upgrade to 700cc injectors I followed the instructions and put them on then i started the car. For the first time it ran fine with no leaks then for about 30 seconds I revd it up to about 2,500 it was ok . It was hesitating on idle but I assumed it’s cus I needed to get tuned. I shut the car off and then turned it on to check if it still works and now this happens car won’t even start and I got a code at the end of the video p062d

After that, I decided to put the stock injectors back on and the car works fine any thoughts? I’ve tried everything I could think of and I’m also on 10:1 compression

How did you get the compression ratio to 10:1 - ?

Other power mods?

Maybe for FI - :iono:

But, shouldn't the car at least start after the injector swap ?

"I had a 2 barrel carb on my car and it ran fine, but when I put a 4 barrel carb on, it wouldn't start".

Did you hook up the fuel line? Did you hook up the linkage?

humfrz - stuck in the 50's - :sigh:

It did once I installed it But after I shut it off the car and turned it back on that problem in the video started happening
Doesn’t happen when I put stock ones back In

Didn’t touch the fuel lines just removed the plate over it and unbolted the fuel rail

Are you running on pump gas?

If so, why are you replacing the injectors?

Well, maybe I'm confused, because I came from the generation where FI meant Fuel Injected, but, according to their web site, you shouldn't have to change injectors if you are using pump gas - :iono:

humfrz - maybe I need a mid-morning nap?

you doubled, or more the injector size without re-scaling the fuel table. Car is so rich its killing itself. You can't just swap injectors over and not adjust the tune.

But shouldn’t the car start tho? And
I’m going to get it tuned I wanted to make sure everything is fine first before scheduling it

Yep. The p062d code is for a defective or malfunctioning injector so the car thinks it is broken.
Which it actually will be if OP keeps changing stuff before he gets a tune!
