When turning from a dead stop left for right the rear end shakes a little until i speed up or straiten it out is that normal for the rear differential ? It’s got about 26k miles on it. 2016

if your tires are properly balanced then my bet is this be just normal operation of your Torsen limited slip diff..

Yeah any difference on tires can upset the lsd.
Could be one tire could be low on air. Check both rears tire pressure.
In few cases very rare a bad wheel bearing is the culprit.

If they are the same would it still be normal?

How quickly are you taking off? If you are close to the grip limit but not going hard enough to spin or are on crappy tires or slippery roads it can do that.

The tires are the stock tires they are extremely hard, very easy to slide in but not taking off fast at all

If I'm turning tightly in either direction with just a bit of torque the diff will chatter just like my brother's 911.

It's totally cool.

Chatter. It's more of a clutch-type lsd thing but the diff mounts in the 86 are mushy.

Just try not to punch it unless you mean to do a donut. If you coast through the turn, even better.
