I had pretty much that exact one in my 64 Econoline van. It was in much better shape than that picture since it was new of course. Just gave it away a few years ago actually.

Sold mine off years ago, it came in a '79 Ford I bought for the axles. I think it was that exact one, Delco and all

8 tracks were well before my days, I didn't even get to try it out.

Ohhh came with the car. That is high class. I only ever had under dash units. All my cars until 1985 or so only came wit AM tube radios. Even a few after that I suppose.

Tube radios... how do valves cope with bumps and knocks? I suppose no need for a heater during the winter months.

Took them about 5 minutes to warm up enough to work in the summer.

I always loved that they could never figure out how to time it so the track didn't change right in the middle of a song. Sort of ruins the mood.
