I never claimed other CEOs don't know anything, they very well might, but I don't know. From what I've seen of Jack though, he clearly does not, unless it's printed in a brochure which is all I've been saying.
None of the other CEOs go out to race on the track. According to you that determineds if the CEO knows what he/she is talking about.

How many thought he was out, as in, gay? That was my first thought. My second thought was, well that makes sense.

I'm sure you don't know that for sure, but it proves they know what they're doing a heck of a lot better than reciting brochures.

My congratulations to Mr. Hollis on his promotion.

It's ironic that his promotion means going from VP of a company to VP of a department.

What prove they are better? I have been following automotive news for 20 years and if there were an auto company CEO racing around the track I would think it would be published somewhere, I have not seen it. Most CEO/VP don't take their product to car shows and Jay Leno's garage to promote it. He is doing a lot more than most VPs in other car companies.

Toyota is a lot bigger than scion. Not to mention scion is only in the USA.

45? He's 45? He went gray prematurely! But anyway, it's a love/hate thing.

He's done for Scion with a minimal advertising budget what other brands spend hundreds of millions on.

I'm sure you all could have hundreds of people reporting to you, company executives breathing down you neck for results everyday, and still take the time to memorize and recite every engineering detail to make the forums happy, while still having any semblance of a work life balance.
I read everything i needed to know from the internets.

So that makes me legit.....
