I like it. Then again I always like simple. No dressing on my salads, you see where I'm going. In contrast I find interiors like the 2012 Civic to be way too busy and overly electronic, too many light trees...it's like the '80's all over again and all I can think of is KITT from Knight Rider. No thanks.

you get what you pay for...

but with that said, everyone has a different perception...

for a car like the scion fr-s and the price range that it's in, i believe the overall quality is nothing to complain about...

pshhh ~

iono but I like the interior.
I was expectin hard plastic everywhere - soft to touch leather - say whaaaat
God I love the steering wheel
Even the dashboard is wrapped in 'leather'

1 of my friends even said it feels Euro ~

I too like the interior, like previously mentioned, it's no leathered out luxury car, but I don't understand what all the gripes are about. For what we paid, I'm very pleased. It's comfortable and well laid out. I can get to everything and barely have to take my eyes off the road while driving. I've had cars that cost at least twice as much that I didn't like as much as this one!

Coming from bmws this interior is refreshing, everything is simple to use and easy to reach. This interior is timeless and will last the ages imo.

Yes! While a lot of people liked the Civic's interior, I thought it got kind of busy over time. It's not horribly laid out, the only thing I'd like on the steering wheel are the cruise settings (the stalk is taking a bit of learning for me). Fortunately, I hardly ever use cruise control, so not a problem there.

Just today I was looking at the clock and it brought a smile how simple it was and that's all it needs to be!

I like the Bespoke's volume knob, it has that nice smooth 'tick' feel to it while you turn it up.

Today I test drove an automatic/whiteout. Fantastic car.

I've recently fallen in love with the FR-S and I love the simplicity of the interior. That's what got me. I hope this doesn't rile anyone up, but it reminds me of a '93 VW Corrado (I'm a 7 year VW owner/driver)...slim racing seats, simple interior with the correct features and nothing over done. A drivers car with the necessities.

I currently own and drive a '12 Golf TDI fully loaded, and I still love the interior of the FR-S. The FR-S is not luxurious (in a good way), and it doesn't need to show off...although I did notice a few loose trim pieces on the door arm rest, but it's nothing that would steer me away from this car.

I believe the large knobs for the HVAC controls may be that size so that they could be operated with gloves on. At least that was the reason given to me by a manufacturer's rep at a show I attended when I asked why such large heater control knobs on that companies show car (different brand).

I love the interior. It's simple, and I'm used to simple. Everything I need is close at hand and there's nothing I don't need. That's exactly what I want in an interior.

Also, the seats are awesome.

I love the interior. I have used every single button, switch, and knob. And guess what? There isn't a single 1 I feel is missing and the ones that are there not a single one is misplaced.

I don't really like the 'carbon fiber' pieces on the dash. Aside from that and the fact that the HVAC knobs and base stereo look like they were made by Fisher-Price, I think the interior is great for a sub $30k car. I love mine!

I would also like a armrest/cover for the cup holder and center storage area - so I think I will make one.

I have ZERO complaints about the interior.

I do have a problem with my seat getting scuffed on the seam on the door side due to my arse falling into the seat. Trying to figure out how to cover/patch it so I don't tear the seat.
