Weird proportions or not the seat all the way back and down is not the best setup for anybody that is 5' 10". To have legs that long then the torso would have to be so tiny you would never see out the windshield.

That would be some mutant level proportions!

legs AND hands that long. As even with overly long legs one would need to rise back of seat to reach limited to extend steering wheel.

I'm about 5'8" and my seat is nowhere near all the way back. If I put it all the way back I literally can't reach the pedals.

Go see a chiropractor. You're off balance by the sound of things. 5'9-5'10 is like sweet spot high for these cars lol. But seriously go see a chiropractor and get an adjustment.

I swear Im not a mutant, just long arms and legs xD. I tried moving the seat up but it causes my legs to bend and hit the bottom of the steering wheel. Maybe the issue is poor flexibility when pointing my toes up? Either way, the pain was better today, so maybe its just a matter of getting used to the car. Ill try the spacer people have been linking too.

You can adjust the steering wheel as well.

Any chance you had Scoliosis? I know a girl with long arms / legs compared to her torso because of the surgery to fix it.

Noction: Did you just adjusted steering wheel up, or if also extended closer to yourself (it also has limited telescopic adjustment)? And i wonder how do you place legs. Normally driving i have right knee always touching center console side bolster/pillow.
I touched steering wheel only when heal & toed. But since then i have both pedal spacer, so that i have to bend leg less for H&T, and steering wheel (J-Luth) of both of smaller diameter and at 20mm offset closer to driver (extending a bit limited stock adjustment range) and almost never having issues of hitting wheel with knee.

So the exact settings that have worked best so far are: seat all the way back, seat height raised one or two pumps from lowest position. Steering wheel raised and extended all the way out, leaving my shoulders relaxed and elbows at about 90 degree angles. My wrists hit the top of the wheel if I straighten my arms while keeping my back on the seat back.

This leaves my legs slightly bent, and the placement of my foot on the gas almost perfect. But brake and clutch feel two inches too close and cramp my leg when I move my foot to reach for them. Legs do not really contact the knee pads at all. If I straighten my legs straight, I am just able to touch the firewall behind the pedals. There is about a two inch gap between the edge if the seat and the back of my knee.

Say whatever you want. I dont think spending 10 years in school doing more medical training than most Drs is scam. To each his own.

well first off that isnt true. so it honestly doesnt matter what i say to you you are going to believe whatever you want in the face of well document evidence that chiropractic is a sham. if it was real medicine, it wouldnt be called alternative medicine. also this has nothing to do with what OP is asking
