Ya it was hidden away in the California emissions discussion so both the guys that have these cars but don't live in California probably missed it. The whole document pretty much does cover every question that has been asked on here.

Well, just dropped mine off at Toyota Huntington Beach. Mine will be the 5th one they do since the recalls went out. Hopefully my slight seeping timing cover gets resealed!

So I had scheduled the apt to get the recall completed however it stated on the website to call and discuss with the dealership before dropping off. This is Subaru dealership of Modesto ca.
Called this morning and was informed that the dealer ship would not be doing the recall until late February as they WILL BE PUTTING TECHS THROUGH A TRAINING ON THIS RECALL before doing any recalls on the Brz . Their is only one tech they usually is allowed to touch my car at that dealer ship and they informed me that he would be getting the training as he is one of the top techs . I just wanted to share this Incase anyone else has the same experience . Gives me some peace of mind that they will at least be trained on the job . ╭(◕◕ ◉෴◉ ◕◕)╮ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Subaru of Portland let me know they can do the recall but they can't schedule it yet because they don't have the parts. They're waiting on a shipment from Subaru and have been for over a week.

Just want them to replace the throw out bearing while they are in there. Anyone had any luck on this?

What else other than spark plugs should we get done while they’re in that area?

My dealership is doing my Tob and clutch, no word yet on if I'll incur additional labor. Worth it regardless. Even 8f they charge an extra hour of labor, that's better than paying for 8 hours of labor they'd normally stick you with

You wouldn't pay 8 hours. If I remember, the TSB for the throw out bearing allocates under 3 for doing it according to the job codes used.
