What insurance company are you with? Liberty Mutual? Safeco? Those are the only ones that I know that offer it, but the cost for that coverage shouldn't be nearly as much as what you're getting charged. (I work in insurance and sell Safeco, so I know what it adds.)

Multi car and house I pay 90 a month and that's with 300K coverage as that's what on the CTS in the garage so they made me match it . I would have my bike thru them as well but they wanted me to put 300K on the bike and I told them to pound sand lol

That's common, as almost every insurance company requires the liability coverage limits (and also medical payments, uninsured motorist, etc.) to be the same for all vehicles and all drivers on the policy (though some will allow you to exclude liability altogether for certain vehicles). I've only heard of one, maybe two companies that will let you stagger your liability coverage limits.

Yeah, they can't make you keep the same liability coverage limit on that (since a motorcycle is a different, completely separate policy, even if it's with the same insurance company and linked together for multi-policy discounts), though it's common for them to recommend that you keep your liability coverage limits the same. Realistically speaking, it's difficult to cause that much bodily injury and/or damage to others while driving a motorcycle anyway. But if they MADE you get that, then that's odd, unless you also have an umbrella policy where the underlying limits are a certain amount (i.e. 100/300/100 or higher, though most companies require 250/500/100 or higher).

I don't believe I have an umbrella policy. From talking to my agent who I have delt with for years recommended
Me to else where as their motorcycle insurance goes thru another company and usually is more expensive . I went and spoke to my buddies agent for state farm and he hooked me up for 40 a month . Being 22 I can't complaint on those prices

Do you know what company they were using? We also do some work with Farmers, but for the motorcycle policies, one of the more common companies is Foremost Insurance (which you may have been quoted with), who is actually part of Farmers.

Yeah, that's a very affordable motorcycle policy at that age, particularly if you have full coverage.

Geico has just the collision coverage at $1,014.92 for the FRS alone, no tickets, 47 years old, multi car discount. hahaha. I'll call them and say WTF!
OK I just got off the phone with them, they messed up the value of the car. It was set at 250,000 instead of 25,000. So now it ended up about $10-ish dollars a month more than my Veloster was. LOLOL

I don't remember what company it was to be honest as this was a while ago when I called around for insurance . It's not full coverage as it is an 05 and the old owner dropped it and cracked the fairing, I'm keeping it for about a year and selling it about 3 -4 of those months prob won't be ridden much due to the 115 degree temps we get here in az and you cook when your stopped lol
