Actually, I have to say I now recall that my student's spins on OEM tires was in wet conditions, and we had wet conditions at the track that day at Palmer on the RE71Rs. So now that I think about it, he was specifically worried about controllability in the wet and was very relieved to find the RE71Rs to be *more* controllable in those conditions. But that said, I've found the RE71Rs to be extremely driveable at and beyond the limits in the dry on my car. |

To clarify, I'm not saying that the RE71Rs aren't "user friendly" either. I'm just saying that I believe they aren't AS easy to control as the stock tires. I have no issues driving them at the limit either, but I still think they're more temperamental than the stock tires, which are very laid back, and buttery smooth in their transitions.
