is the mt90 redline 75w90 trans oil is the same color as the OE one?(still under warranty so..)
if not,whats the oe's oil color?

According to this video, at 8min, it looks red/pink.
OEM oil is probably going to be black/blackish if you have some miles on it.

probably but obviously i meant when its new and not burnt
still havent picked the one to go with(tried 300 and its shitty) so i might be more interested to know what color is the OE one.

The bit about warranty suggests OP wants oil that can pass for OEM in a visual inspection in case of any warranty work that might arise in the future.

Question for the OP @Legend@wheels as long as the oil that was put in the transmission meets the specifications in the manual, would it make a difference, when it comes to warranty work in Israel?

I'm just wondering if you're worrying over something that doesn't need to be worried about?

Uhmm hard to say for sure.
If its 100% fits so it might be more easier .
But i dont think that the oils we put does that.
(Mt90,mt85,pentosin,motul300 and so on)

P.s
If i was thinking what we put is bad i wasnt doing that in the first place/or the oil ive put caused that then i wouldnt go dealer at all since its my fault.
But in this case those boxes came out from the dealer as a rubbish boxes.

Not enough for the dealer.
Anyway i just want to know its color thats it.
If anyone got his previous oil out and it was new car so its the still the same color so its a good indication

Can you not replace with oem factory fluid? and or call the dealer and ask what would be deemed acceptable to not have warranty issues?

If it’s the same “spec” it should not matter assuming the proper filling protocol was met and that replacing it wasn’t the specific issues “filling too much, too little, forgetting to put drain and or fill plug back on etc...”

The dealership cannot reject the factory warranty simply because you purchased a compatible fluid elsewhere. As long as it's the correct weight and grade, you have met the factory defined requirements. Use a different dealer if they try pulling that stunt, or get Toyota involved directly.

And to answer your question, OEM is amber in color. I've been using Toyota LV 75W transmission lube for changes at Toyota's suggestion (also amber). It ain't cheap though... I recently changed to Amsoil 75W-90 GL-4 because it's half the price of the Toyota stuff, and I have to say I'm not impressed. I might switch to Redline MTL 75W80 GL-4.
