Just an idea here. The plugs were often removed to install block heaters on older vehicles in northern climates. Maybe just install a block heater until you can find the replacement plug.

Yes, I have an FR-S, I just haven't seen the back side of it's engine.

isnt that the oil filter port and the circled part the part you add the oil in or am i looking at it worng

Yep, just wanted to confirm it wasn't.
I've had friends who didn't know the difference between an oil galley plug and a freeze plug.

i just checked and the oil filter is on the inside anyway. i still dont know what im looking at.

Get your micrometer, measure, go to auto store and pick up that size plug. Or if you are lazy, order that size plug on line.

Its the back left of the engine (if you're looking at it from the front of the engine/car). It's where the trapezoidal cam plate that's notorious for oil leaks is.

That's just crazy talk. If I was in the middle of nowhere, I'd still take the old one, stretch it out a bit, and pound it back in. It's a fifty cent, generic part.

ol @Ultramaroon nailed it a few posts up. I put up a picture of where it is on the engine. Rear part of the head on the left bank.
