Anything typed into the forum is going to be on public display.
It's kind of the point. I'll be writing my deepest secrets with my finger on the palm of my other hand. Inside a Chivas bag. Though the rushin wackers in the home monitoring appliances can determine number of strokes and direction if two or more mics are involved. Better yet, don't even sub vocalize it. Thought crimes: double plus ungood

![]() Better than most. Even some other analysts I know have a generic password they use for sites without any sensitive data that they don't care about. Although you do kind of have mod access here, so might want to take that into account. |

I sold my 2013 at close to 50k miles, it had a 4th gear grind from probably all the track events I was doing.
The next owner had the transmission replaced under warranty without issues at a friendly dealership. Next time you get a car like this new, find a better dealer to work with. -alex |

This is my only important account. I have zero banking info since my wife does all that (I don't even know how much I make a year) and if anybody wants to hack my Facebook they are welcome to it since people would just be surprised I visited it in the last two years. Work makes me change my password about every 30 seconds so even I don't know it half the time.

+1 defects happen, this sounds like a shitty dealership story, not a shitty car story.
There are so many more nightmarish experiences, people with holes in their engine blocks getting jerked around, early DI seal failure, AVCS issues, not having the car for months on end, etc. When mine goes it's off to the junkyard, ebay, or someone selling theirs local, $600 and a grimy afternoon and back on the road. Transmission may not be bulletproof in this thing, but when it works well it's very good, and imho mine feels better at 73k than it did at 7.3k Edit: And I beat the shit out of it Last edited by strat61caster; 10-04-2018 at 02:53 PM. |

I mean the M5 box is certainly longer throw but I wouldn’t exactly call it mushy. My Honda was fine, and my kenworth were fine too... I’ve driven a lot of manuals.

My friends have told me the same thing and I know you all are right. What’s holding me back is I don’t want somebody to have my address (which you have to write on the title) and then come to kill me. I’m legitimately concerned. There is option D, destroy it with sledgehammers and drive it off a cliff into the ravine. |

Another note, for those curious... I’m not sure I want to share which dealership, but actually the original dealership who did the replacement is a different dealership than the one I’ve had issues with since.
