Nail but no leak. Anything to worry about?
So I was rotating my tires and found a nail on one of the front tires (stock primacys) in between the treads. The nail seemed pretty small so I pulled it out and it turned out to be about a 1/3 inch deep. It still isn't leaking air.
Should I leave it and check for leaking periodically? Should I go ahead with the rotation and put it in the rear? I don't track it, but do like to take it up in the mountains. Maybe there's an obvious answer, but I'd like to hear your opinions/wisdom

Put a little soapy water on it and see if it bubbles.

I drove the last 15000 miles of a set of tires with a nail in one. It would leak down and trigger a warning light every week or so. Sometimes it would seat nicely and go for a few weeks.

No bubbles coming out.
I guess I won't worry about it then. Doubt there will be a catastrophic failure driving on the street. |

Put some rubber vulcanizing liquid in the hole if not bubbling. That'll seal the deal.

If it was my tire I would carefully pull it out and see how long it is. If it was really long or has a leak, it is an easy repair at a tire shop

Guessing but front tires, scuffed when turned either standing still or moving very slowly.
